Accident & injury

 Staff will perform First Aid, such as thoroughly cleansing the area and applying ice packs. If wound needs further medical attention, parents and/or alternate contact will be reached as soon as possible. In minor injury cases, staff re-evaluate the injury within an hour/periodically throughout the day & will inform parents if it appears to be worsening. *All documented on Accident Injury Form* Any accident or injury that causes a mark/appears that it may cause a mark will be documented on Form that will be signed by parents. Parents will receive copy of the signed Form indicating what, when and how the injury happened, the staff available, first aid treatment given, re-check, and when parents were notified.
